In the nineteen eighties, she was a tennis phenomenon. She was the number two ranked female tennis player in the world. Despite her success in the courts, a career ending injury at the age of nineteen sent her on the path of helping children on a full time basis. She gave the earnings that would have secured her retirement to co-found the Silver Lining Foundation benefiting children with cancer.,that bring joy, comfort, and long term support. Andrea has captured her true-life story in this wonderful book entitled “First Service, Following God’s Calling and Finding Life’s Purpose.”
