He was one of the first young men to be believe in our dream of a ministry to build a church. And he came a fresh graduate of the University, joined this church and I married him 41 years ago to Dixie. And then when we went on television, 34 years ago, he became the volunteer announcer. By this time he was a professional and his face and his voice was known to millions of people in the Los Angeles region as the greatest sports announcer in our town. His name is Ed Arnold. He is beloved; he's respected by everybody in Southern California. He has donated what would amount to millions of dollars worth of free services as an announcer and for fundraising activities.
