Guest She is a woman who had touches many, many people's lives because Sherialyn Byrdsong is a faith filled woman whose strength and love truly abounds in her. Her husband and father of their 3 children, Ricky Byrdsong, was tragically murdered in a hate crime by white supremacists a little over a year ago. Ricky spent 18 years as a college basketball coach and was best known for his head coaching position with the Northwestern University Wildcats. He has been working on a book for nearly 2 years and it's called "Coaching Your Kids in the Game of Life." Although Ricky is no longer here his words and his message is and so is his beautiful wife. RUSS LEE Russ Lee is a recording
artist. He possesses one of the grittiest, blues-tingled, soul
and pop voices ever to grace ten number one songs on Christian
radio. During the years he spent as front man for the group New
Song, Russ racked up a long list of accolades, hits and awards
including a Dove nomination for best male vocalist. But the details
of his resume don't tell the depth of his story. Born in Cleveland,
Tennessee, Russ's early years were filled with happy times of
much love and laughter. But upon entering his teenage years Russ's
life took a turn for the worse and he looked to money, drugs,
pornography to escape his problems. By the age of seventeen, Russ
was dealing drugs out of his car and eventually Russ reached the
breaking point that turned his life around. He is now an ordained
minister as well as an experienced performer. The whole thrust
of Russ's life is focused on sharing the good news of Christ with
whoever and however and in every way he can. Special
