Jayne Meadows & Bill Allen

Steve Allen, Jayne's husband, shaped and formed the medium of television when the clay was still wet. He was a creative pioneer and he created the longest running, most profitable show in the history of television, The Tonight Show, and he created it himself the first year he had not even one writer and that was the golden age of television.

Bill, the son of Jayne & Steve, made some wonderful shows. He was so profoundly moved by his father's courage and speaking out as a pioneer of the entertainment industry.
